Dr. Robert Pepper, Chief of the Office of Plans and Policy for the U.S. Federal Communication Commission in Washington, DC, presented the second annual Jones Internet Lecture on November 13, 2004 at NCA in Chicago.

Han's paper was "Race in cyberqueer space: Looking at race in online personal advertisements for men seeking men." Shawn's paper, "Moving Fw: Theoretical perspectives on the role of email joke forwarding in maintaining online social relationships." Justin's paper was, "Formation and reinforcement of Goth identity online." All three papers were presented in a special conference session on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the University of Sussex..
