From: Shing-Ling Chen and Jon Hall, University of Northern Iowa Subject: “Gender and Conflict Styles: Some Laboratory Observations” Date: 4/2/01 Description: This is a New Iowa School laboratory research in which the negotiation sessions of a landlord and a tenant was recorded for analysis. Four different contexts were generated: Male landlord vs. male tenant, male landlord vs. female tenant, female landlord vs. male tenant, and female landlord vs. female tenant.
